An update for all Spotsy’s
friends.
Keith and I first
visited Fen Bank in May 2009 where we had a difficult choice to make.
We were looking for a gentle dog as a companion to our older boy Gyp
the lurcher in his twilight years. I fell in love with Spotsy but our
heads had to rule and as he was a big bouncy boy felt he would not be
the right choice for Gyp who had a few leg and back problems at the
time. After much deliberation and excellent guidance from Jenny we
adopted Caitlin who quickly became part of our family and settled in
very nicely as you can see from the photos..

Sadly in December
after a brief but painful illness Gyp was put to sleep and our world was
shattered. Caitlin missed him although their friendship had been brief
and in May this year we contacted Fen Bank to discover that Spotsy was
still there. Would he be a suitable dog for Caitlin?…well judge for
yourselves. They both appear to enjoy caravanning.
We have now had Spotsy for 3 weeks and it feels as though he and Caitlin have been with
us forever. Fate has played a massive part in this union and our
sincere thanks to all at Fen Bank for leading us to these 2 beautiful
dogs.
Spotsy has made many
friends both through the sanctuary and the website and we would like to
share with all of you his new contentment with us.

A special thanks to
Jenny for her understanding of “us Yorkshire folk” (there's nowt
wrong with Yorkshire folk - Ed)

Spotsy just chilling
"Come
on mum help me I know I buried a chew here last year" (Caitlin)
Kind regards and best
wishes
