Ruby

HOMED

This girl needs no talking up! Such a beautiful little blue girl. Settles well after a walk and food.

Volunteers view from Amy: Ruby didn’t settle well in the car and was quite stressed throughout the journey, she stood up for most of the time and the times she did lie down she was heavily panting and needed reassurance. She would probably benefit from lots of short journeys to help get her used to travelling in the car. Wouldn’t do well on long journeys and needs gentle introduction to travelling in the car, even when lying down didn’t look comfortable.

On the walk she pulled to begin with but once I wrapped the lead round her front she improved greatly. When the crow scarer went of she was absolutely fine and took no notice of it.

Out in town we saw some vocal little terriers and Ruby wasn’t interested in them, she walked on by. We saw a Cat and she was not bothered about that either.

On the way back to the kennels Ruby was a little better in the car, she did lay down but still looked uncomfortable.

When we got back to the kennel Ruby settled really well and was like a different dog! She was calm and content after a walk and food.
