Spotsy
(Conanagh Hero) Spotsy
is a 7 1/2 year old handsome black and white dog, sometimes
strong-willed but a very loving happy dog. He is desperate to
find his forever home, either on his own or with a laid-back
Greyhound bitch. Spotsy would like a home without small children
as he feels uncomfortable in their presence.
Spostsy is house-trained and is
ready and waiting to find the right loving home that he so
deserves.

A special plea for a
good home for Mable and Gracie
 |
From
Mable and Gracie's current owners:
Mable and
Gracie are sisters from the same litter and are inseparable.
They are approx 3 years old. Mable is more dominant, but she is
cautious whilst Gracie is the more inquisitive of the two. They
are both a beautiful black with a small white tip each on their
tails (Gracie’s white tip is more prominent than Mable’s).
We have had
them nearly 2 years and they get on fine with our 3 kids, 2 cats
and 11 chickens!!
Unfortunately
we have had an unforeseen change in circumstances, and have to
(reluctantly) let them go, however we are most anxious that they
remain together and find a happy home. |

A selection of our
other dogs awaiting a home
 |
Bobby
(Mineola Padraig)
A 3
1/2 year old handsome blue boy. Loving and kind, Bobby would
prefer to be in a home with another dog as he can lack
confidence when on his own due to a fear of things being thrown,
especially in open spaces. We feel that Bobby would better suit
an older family, couple or single person whom he would adore and
make a wonderful companion. |
 |
Samuel
3 year old black adorable young
lad, full of love, a real bundle of joy. Samuel has been with us
for over six months now, he was one of six dogs that were saved
from drowning in a river in Ireland. In that time we have seen
his character grow and grow into the wonderful young man that he
has now become. Samuel walks beautifully on the lead and with
plenty of regular socialising will soon get fully over his fear
of small dogs. He will make a great pet and companion. |
 |
Penny
Has been with
us for some time now and was recently fostered by a canine
behaviourist who assessed her very favourably. Penny is a good
house pet, and responds exceptionally well to commands. She has
met hamsters and small dogs and quickly responded when told to
leave. She is quite dominant and yet needs the reassurance of
another, preferably male, dog - otherwise she will be on your
bed all night! Even then she doesn't like to be out of your
sight for very long. But this is something she will overcome in
time with the right help. She is a lovely girl and has so much
love to give ideally to a quiet family without noisy children,
or a person on their own. |
 |
Ben (Storygoeswithit)
A four year old loving, laid-back
fawn boy. One of our longer-term residents, Ben has really
settled down well since he has been with us, but would now
really like to find his forever home. Ben can be unsettled by
small children, so would need a home that is child-free,
although he would be fine with teenagers. Ben walks well on the
lead but doesn't like lots of traffic so would be better suited
to a more rural home. |
 |
Curt
Curt
is a five year old big black gentleman, kind, loving and laid
back. Curt is a really genuine dog who enjoys human company, he
is an absolute gent and will make a very loyal and loving per.
He walks nicely on the lead. |
 |
Jenny (Sheepwalk Jenny)
A five year old
black and white pretty young girl, Jenny is very affectionate
and enjoys nothing more than being the centre of attention. She
has a lively, bubbly personality and is full of character. Jenny
walks nicely on the lead, travels well, and will make a super
addition to a loving home. |
 |
Nelly (Nelly Nugget)
Nelly is a 5 year old pretty
black and white young lady. Cheeky and playful, Nelly is loving
and very friendly, she oozes with character and always puts a
smile on peoples' faces. Nelly loves to run and play with toys
in the paddock, but hasn't quite got used to the idea of giving
the toys up when it's time to come in. Due to her possessive
nature, Nelly would suit a family with grown-up children or a
single couple, to whom she would make a super pet. |
 |
Opal (Wentworth Opal)
Four years old
(five in April) small pretty young girl, absolutely adorable,
loving and playful. Opal often picks up her food bowl and
cheekily stands at the gate with it hanging out of her mouth,
her tail wagging furiously and a cheeky glint in her eye!! She
will settle into home life easily and make a wonderful pet. |
 |
Harry
3 1/2 year old
big strong black handsome young lad. He never raced so has no
old injuries. He is not cat-friendly, but is good with medium
and large breeds although he still needs more work around small
and toy breeds. He would best suit an experienced owner as he
can be strong-willed at times. Despite this, Harry is very
lovable and is generally laid-back. He has lived indoors before
and will make a great companion. |
|

|
Bud (Bud Davis)
3 1/2 year old big handsome fawn
boy. Laid back and loving, a real gentleman. Bud is one of the
kennel's more recent additions so is still undergoing a full
assessment. He will however make a wonderful companion. |
 |
Cougar (Cougar's Blue)
Cougar will be five in April, she
is a beautiful blue bitch, full of character, playful and
loving. Another more recent addition so still undergoing a full
assessment. |
|

|
Darcy (Denan Kewell)
Five year old handsome black dog,
happy and loving. Darcy is good with other breeds and will make
a great pet and companion. |
|

|
Minnie (Minimarket Roar)

arrival and we are awaiting information. |
|

|
Grace (Leedsfan Grace)
Pretty white and fawn girl. Grace is a new
arrival and we are awaiting information. |
 |
