Minnie
Born: 14th
February 2006
Very sweet young girl who has come on leaps and bounds since
coming to Fen Bank. Loving and playful, very cheeky at
times. Would prefer to have the company of another larger dog or
dogs, in a home where someone is around most of the time. She is
still being socialised with smaller breeds, NOT CAT FRIENDLY, OK
with children, will make a great pet once settled into home
life. |

Nelly
Nelly is a 5 year old pretty
black and white young lady. Cheeky and playful, Nelly is loving
and very friendly, she oozes with character and always puts a
smile on peoples' faces. Nelly loves to run and play with toys
in the paddock, but hasn't quite got used to the idea of giving
the toys up when it's time to come in. Due to her possessive
nature, Nelly would suit a family with grown-up children or a
single couple, to whom she would make a super pet. |

Bud
Born: 2007
3 1/2 year old big handsome fawn
boy. Laid back and loving, a real gentleman. Bud is one of the
kennel's more recent additions so is still undergoing a full
assessment. He will however make a wonderful companion. |

|
Grace
Born: 26th
November 2005
Stunning fawn and white young lady, very loving, will make a
great addition to any home, would be ok either as an only dog,
or with other doggie company. Can be lively at times especially
when walked, although she soon settles down. Good with children,
coming on well with small breeds, NOT CAT FRIENDLY.
Grace recently broke her leg, see
her in the
hydrotherapy pool. |
 |
Evie
Born: 15th
July 2006
Pretty
black girl, Would thrive in a relaxed happy environment, would
prefer to have other doggie company. Lively, loving girl who's
just waiting for the right home to come along. Great with larger
breeds is still being socialised around small breeds. Would
prefer to be with family with older or no children (as she gets
a bit unsettled if there's too much going on around her). |
 |
Curtis
Born: 10th January 2006
Tall dark and handsome, loving and kind, this beautiful black
boy is settling in nicely. Curtis is one of our more recent
additions so is still undergoing a full assessment with smaller
breeds. Good with my 11 year old son, not yet seen many younger
children, not yet cat tested. Will settle well into home life. |
 |
Rory
Born: 20th
July 2004
Another more recent addition to the kennels, Rory has settled
down nicely, this handsome black lad is extremely loving and
adores human attention, the more love and cuddles the better as
far as he is concerned, he gets on well with the other
greyhounds. Not yet fully assessed with smaller breeds, not yet
cat tested. Will make a great pet. |
 |
Badger
Born: November 2004
Beautiful black and white young lady, another of our most recent
additions, has settled nicely into the kennels, loves the
company of other dogs, lively and very loving. Still undergoing
a full assessment with smaller breeds, not yet cat tested. Will
make a good family pet. |
 |
Chief
Born: 2006
Had a very
traumatic early life and required extensive rehabilitation to
learn to trust humans, men especially. Two years on, he is now a
confident and very loving 4 year old boy who is extremely
faithful and obedient. He is OK with other breeds and has a
gentle nature and lives to please. He particularly likes women
but would settle happily with a single person of either sex, or
equally, with a family. He is not cat friendly but is otherwise
the perfect dog. |
 |
Sandy
Born: 2007
Sandy is a
lively and loving almost 3 year old girl. She is good with other
breeds, has a lovely temperament and is very clean and loves to
be in the centre of things so would suit an active family. She
likes children and is very affectionate and faithful. She may be
cat friendly but has not yet been tested. Once she gets used to
her surroundings she will bark if a stranger approaches, and
unusually for a greyhound, will make an excellent house guard
dog! She does not bark at other times. |
 |
Noddy
Born: August 2007
Tall dark and
handsome young man, very friendly and very recently in, so still
being assessed, but showing every sign that he will make a
lovely family pet. |
 |
Ronnie
Born: 2005
A
big blue boy, Ronnie would ideally be homed as an only dog in a
home without young children, as he is very possessive over food.
He is fine with larger other breeds, but still needs work
socialising him around small dogs. That said, he is a
wonderfully friendly and loving boy who would be an ideal
companion for an older person. |
 |
Ben
Born: June 2005
A big black
boy with a strong character, Ben has won everyone’s heart. He is
a big girl’s blouse and hates to be alone so would ideally be
homed with another dog for company. He is still being assessed
with other breeds, but shows great promise. |
 |
Rose
Born: 2004
Came to us
from the Dog Warden as she was left, emaciated and flea ridden,
tied up after a car boot sale in Skegness. She is 6 years old,
very friendly and surprisingly trusting after all that has
happened to her. Very affectionate and in desperate need of a
good permanent home. |
 |
Blakey
Born: 2006
A real
sweetheart, he is very shy until he gets to know you and would
ideally be homed with another dog to give him confidence and
provide company which he loves. He is still being assessed
around other breeds and because he is so timid would be better
in a home without small or noisy children. |
 |
Red
Born: September 2007
Stunning big
red-fawn boy. Red is extremely loving and has an amiable
disposition and will make someone very proud indeed when they
take him to his forever home. |
 |
Vinny
Born: 2007
Only 2 days at
Fen Bank, Vinny has shown a kindly disposition and although a
reluctant eater and quite shy, is already settling down into his
new routine. Yet to be assessed. |
 |
Trudi
Born: February 2008
Trudi is
extremely intelligent and a very quick learner. She loves
agility and likes to be in the middle of things all the time.
She would suit an active “doggy” family who will respond to her
loving nature and give her plenty to do! She is lively around
small dogs, but not at all nasty - she just needs more
socialising. |
 |
Kylie
Born: January 2007
Kylie is a
fabulous girl, good with other breeds, extremely loving and
quite shy until she gets to know you when she is very playful
and confident. She will make a wonderful pet for a family or a
single person who has time to really get to know her. She is
very strong on the lead but is extremely biddable. She is not
cat friendly, and perfect in all other respects. |
 |
Percy
Born: 2007
Another very
recent arrival, Percy is a handsome black and white boy who has
oodles of personality and will be assessed over the coming
fortnight. |
